Nicholas Hiatt
Resume
Nicholas graduated from NIDA in 2013 (BA Dramatic Arts: Acting) and has since worked as an actor in Australia and the United States. Prior to his time at NIDA he completed a BA in Multimedia design and worked as a singer for Thomson Cruises.
Selected stage credits include: RICHARD III (Scranton Shakespeare Festival), MACBETH (Columbia Stages, NYC), The National Australian Tour of SNUGGLEPOT AND CUDDLEPIE (CDP Theatre Producers, Monkey Baa Theatre Co), THE CHIMNEYSWEEP (Pinchgut Opera), Kill the PM (Unhappen Theatre Co), OSAMA THE HERO, CLOUD 9, OTHELLO and SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE (NIDA).
On screen he has appeared in the award winning indie feature film MILKWATER (Enfant Terrible Films) as well as numerous short films.
In 2016 Nicholas was among the recipients of the prestigious Mike Walsh Fellowship.
His first short film, THE MISTRESS OF THE FOREST, which he wrote and directed, played in film festivals across the world, winning several awards including BEST FILM at Short + Sweet Film Festival in Sydney and BEST COMEDY FILM at Gen Con Film Festival 2018.
