Rudolf Hendrikx is a performer, body/voice, speech and acting coach based in Sydney Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts from WAAPA and an MFA in Voice Studies from NIDA. As a performer and puppeteer Rudolf has worked in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and the UAE. He recently finished a development with Critical Path for the puppetry/movement piece “Two bodies one mind”. As a voice, speech and acting pedagogue Rudolf works with NIDA and Midnight Feast Theatre Company with artists who live with a disability. Previously he has worked with the University of Pretoria, Tshwane University of Technology, the University of Cape town, in South Africa and with Actors Centre Australia. Rudolf recently became a Lessac Kinesensics certified body/voice facilitator. He is interested in inclusion and diversity in vocal pedagogy. At last year’s VASTA conference he presented a paper on “Inclusivity in Vocal Pedagogy” which is in the process of being published. Last year Rudolf completed two months of intense training with renowned comedy master Philippe Gaulier in France. Rudolf runs a private practice as a body/voice pedagogue.
