Darren graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) where he has specialised in Film, Theatre, and Voice Over. Darren has recently filmed Tele-movie animation Alice Miranda- Friends Forever and Alice Miranda- A Royal Christmas ball, which will feature on channel 9 and Stan in 2020. Darren also filmed Maya the Bee 3- The Golden Orb which will be shown in 160 countries and is also shooting the new Animated Television series Space Nova- 26 × 24 Episodes which will also be shown on Channel 9 in 2021.
His credits include, The Good Neighbour (Directed by James Crisp), which won 1st prize at Blue Mountains film festival, and gained official selection for Sandfly Film Festival, Byron Bay International Film Festival, Rochester Film Festival, Krakow Film Festival (Poland) and Shanghai Film Festival. The Last shift (Directed by Claire Haywood) Darren’s recent theatre credits include: The Night Alive Directed by Maeolisa Stafford, Mr Stink (National tour) Directed by Jonathan Biggins and Ruben Guthrie Written by Brendan Cowell and Directed by David Berthold. Darren currently works with the NIDA OPEN PROGRAM as a Tutor.
