Melissa graduated from NIDA in 2019 with a BFA (Acting). Her recent theatre credits include Hamlet (Bell Shakespeare), Othello (Sport for Jove), Claudel (Tinderbox Productions/Sydney Opera House), Delilah by the Hour (Kleine Feinheiten/Brand X), A Midsummer Nights Dream (Melbourne Theatre Company), The Taming of the Shrew, When The Rain Stops Falling, God of Carnage, Ah Tuzenbach, The Women, Roberto Zucco, Richard II and Antigone (NIDA), Suitcases, Baggage & Other Synonyms (Nick of Time), The Apartment (Four Walls). Her television credits include Australia on Trial: The Mount Rennie Outrage. She has appeared in short films Let Me Love you, and Three Small Rebellions.
In 2020 Melissa was awarded the prestigious Leslie Walford Award to finance the first stage of a feature film that is developing about her life in Melbourne’s Turkish community.
