Your Tutor – Tina Jackson
Tina is a proud graduate of NIDA’s Diploma of Music Theatre. She has recently returned from touring the USA with Erth’s Prehistoric Aquarium Adventure. She has also toured the show in Australia and New Zealand, both as a puppeteer and a host. Other recent credits include The Gruffalo (Mouse) and The Very Hungry Caterpillar, both for CDP.
Tina spent two years in London from 2013-2015 where she was lucky enough to perform on the West End, tour the UK and take part in both the Brighton and Camden Fringe festivals. Shows whilst in the UK included From Up Here (Jill), Dinosaur Zoo (Puppeteer/Understudy Host), The Night Before Christmas (Emily/Lizzie) and Hello Again (ensemble). In Australia, Tina has performed in both the Sydney Opera House season and Australian tour of Trevor Ashley’s Little Orphan TrAshley, alongside veterans Rhonda Burchmore and Gary Sweet.
Tina has taught for NIDA since 2015, and also taught at Brent St and McCarthy Studios in Sydney, Razzamataz in the UK, and Limelight in Melbourne. She has had students join the professional companies of such shows as Annie, South Pacific, Mary Poppins, Matilda, Evita and West Side Story.
