Danny is an actor, producer and emerging writer and director. He grew up in Melbourne to Italian-Australian parents before moving to Sydney, graduating NIDA with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting) in 2016. He has produced several theatre productions in Sydney, including the original verbatim piece I Walk In Your Words. His play Adidas Girls was recently performed at Merrigong Theatre Company as part of the Drama Studio’s Final Draft Program.
Recent acting credits: Much Ado About Nothing (Bell Shakespeare), Mercury Fur (KXT), The Serpent’s Teeth (KXT), Blackrock (Seymour Centre), Voices Unheard (Australian Jewish Fertility Network), Love Me (Old 505) and The Players Tour (Bell Shakespeare). Screen credits include guest roles on Home and Away (Network 7) and KICK (SBS).
Directing credits: The Apartment (University of Melbourne), LADS (development, KXT), The Beast and The Here and This and Now (staged readings, KXT), 2020 Showcase (NIDA, assistant to Imara Savage), The Serpent’s Teeth (Sydney Theatre School, assistant to Kristine Landon-Smith) and Before the Meeting (Seymour Centre, assistant to Kim Hardwick).
