Holiday course
An introduction to the principles of creating costumes for stage and screen. Develop original design ideas through practical exercises with a NIDA tutor to build your skills and visual understanding.
Course components
- Learn drawing techniques as you explore costume design concepts.
- Create the concept of a costume to pitch to an audience.
- Engage in technical exercises that will assist you to create costumes in the future.

- Please ensure that you have given a valid email and mobile number as any course changes will be communicated via email or sms.
- Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in for all drama and performance related courses. Clothing that restricts movement is inappropriate.
- Please wear closed-in shoes. Shoes may be removed in the rehearsal room on the direction of the class tutor.
- Participants must provide their own lunch, including snacks and drinks.
- Students in courses for Grades 11–12 will not be supervised during breaks and are free to leave the venue at designated break times should they wish.
