Be introduced to the competitive world of voice overs in this fast paced course. Develop your ability to interpret scripts and deliver engaging reads. Work with a voice over expert as ready yourself for quality, industry standard performances.

Course components

• Apply techniques to improve your vocal flexibility.
• Record television and radio voice-overs in NIDA’s professional sound studio.
• Participate in a Q & A with an industry expert regarding acquiring voice over agents, participating in castings and the voice-over industry as a whole.

Outcomes

• Ability to complete an effective vocal and physical warm up.
• Application of techniques to improve range, tonal quality, breath and safe use of voice.
• Ability to apply feedback during the recording of voice overs in a professional sound studio on site.

• Please wear closed-in shoes. Shoes may be removed in the rehearsal room on the direction of the class tutor.
• Please bring along a pen, notebook or electronic device and a bottle of water to all classes.
