Sara has worked Internationally as a Performer, Teacher and Corporate Coach and Facilitator.Her diverse education includes a Bachelor of Arts from Curtain University, a degree in Performing Arts from WAAPA, a Post Graduate Degree in Radio Journalism from Charles Sturt University. She holds a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
As an Actor she has appeared all over Australia. Her most recent performances include Fiddler on the Roof, Home Sick and Femme Fatale at the MCA. Recent TV and Film appearances include Tangle, Party Tricks, Wentworth and Tidal Marks.
She has successfully produced several shows including the award winning Fit to be Tied and A Respectable Wedding.
As a Journalist Sara has produced for Late Nite Live and Arts Today on ABC Radio National and for 9 years Presented, wrote and Produced her own Arts program on 89.7 FM Eastside Radio.
Sara has been a Corporate Role Player and Facilitator for NAB, ANZ, Citi Bank, Johnson and Johnson, CDAC, NSW Departments of Health and Education, NIDA, and the WA Police Academy.
Her writing and directing credits include Big Mob a Good Times, The Girl with the Green Ear, My Life in Art, Beef Queens, 18 Years of Therapy, Femme Fatale, Working, Food, Fetish and Frivolity, Smash Hit, Vincent, Abigail’s Party, Sexercise, Fat Boy Slimmer, The Tenants, The Magnolia Tree, Magpie, My Favourite Year, Merrily We Roll Along, Girl as Green as Elderflower, Underground, Toorak Rules, Marlene Dietrich- Perfect Illusion, Joy, and numerous Cabaret shows. She has taught at The Australian Actor’s Centre, NIDA, AIM, ACTT, National theatre Drama School, Centre stage, Federation University, VCA, Monash University and at ATYP for over 20 years. She has also run Acting workshops for Seniors and people with disability. She currently Directs, and teaches Acting at Federation University, The National Theatre Drama School, The Space and NIDA.
